the feeding habits of the ferrel cats. this was more fun than the cooking channel and i've been hooked. i have been continuously attending every one of their meetings. we live in the city named after st. francis with the ensuing myth of great kindness and love of all animals. unfortunately in their zeal for a greater good, many of our home grown franciscan pet activists feel entitled to disregard some of the biblical teachings, especially the one about you shall not bear false witness. last year four of the commissioners stood before this very rules committee. they presented the supervisors with a fact sheet. the fact sheet stated four pet stores in the city that sell dogs. this fact was an intentional lie. last spring sfpca wrote an article in the chronicle about a phone survey they conducted on how san franciscans acquire dog. unfortunately under the category of -- >> i'm going to have to ask you to wrap up. i'm sorry. you can finish your sentence and your thought. i'm asking you to wrap up because your time was up. >>> nobody told me two minutes. okay. well, you did, but unfo

station and supervisor ferrell's newsletter for the month of september, there are two articles in the marina times, it is a free publication which is distributed to the pacific heights and marina neighborhoods. thus far, we've received a lot of community feedback on this project. we have a lot of support on this project including at marina community station, fort mason center, golden gate yacht mrub, the presidio ymca, the mission merchant's association, the golden gate restaurant association, the chamber of commerce, the national parks conservancy, the last meeting, a couple of the restaurant managers did come out to support this endeavor, as well as two of the landlords, drakes east bay company, we're excited because they're a local company, food service distributors, the peninsula, spca, dug mccon nel and erik bran den badgering, although this project has a lot of support, staff has spoken to members of community who expressed concerns about hours of operation, delivery schedule, outreach, lights and garbage and a number of people bho have come to this meeting -- come to the operat

for approval to the board. then at tuesday's hearing supervisor ferrell's ordinance to reinstate liquor controls on union street was heard. you will remember the commission recommended approval of this ordinance with minor modification on september 9th. this week the full board approved the ordinance, as it has been amended. supervisor's wiener tax amendment for business properties, a business and tax and police code amendment and little bit of planning code amendment was heard. this would simplify the requirements for parking five or fewer spaces in a residential building. you recommended approval with minor modifications. your modifications were incorporated into the revised ordinance . this week the unanimously voted to approve the ordinance. also the car wash legislation, which would allow existing gas stations along 19th avenue to add car washes. this was recommended for approval with modifications by you. in this case the modifications were not incorporated into the ordinanc
